God's Favoured People
We are an inter-denominational Christian women’s ministry commissioned to preach the undiluted Word of God, mend lives and homes, and raise families rooted in faith. Since 1986, God’s favour has carried this ministry across Benue and Kogi States and beyond, growing from a single fellowship into a movement marked by testimonies of healing, deliverance, and transformed homes. Forty years on, we’re still standing strong, teaching, worshipping, and equipping God’s people to overcome the works of the devil and live victorious, godly lives. Our Story: Forty Years of God's Faithfulness
Faith Women Fellowship Ministry was born in 1986 in Makurdi, Benue State, out of a personal encounter with God. Our founder, Evangelist Mrs. Lydia Ichame Idoko (JP), had fallen seriously ill, and when medicine could not restore her, she turned back to God in search of answers. In that place of desperation, God opened her eyes to His call on her life. She yielded, received her healing, and from that moment of surrender, FWF was born.
What began as one woman’s obedience grew into a movement. Evangelist Idoko carried the Gospel across every local government area of Benue and Kogi States, planting the Fellowship wherever she went. Testimonies of healing, deliverance, and God’s visible faithfulness drew members in, and branches multiplied.
The journey has not been without trial. The sudden passing of her husband, the Honourable Chief Judge of Benue State, Chief Justice Alhassan Idoko, tested the Ministry deeply. Yet, built on a foundation that is not of human strength, FWF stood firm and continues to stand today.

Meet Our Founder
Evangelist Mrs. Lydia Ichame Idoko (JP) has been known, since her early years, as a cheerful, warm, and easy-going woman of God who relates easily with everyone around her. Her early life was shaped by her marriage to a distinguished jurist who would go on to become the Chief Judge of Benue State, a season of frequent relocation before the family finally settled in Makurdi.
Though she was a committed Christian, it was a season of serious illness; one that medicine alone could not resolve that God used to draw her into ministry. Through that trial came both her healing and her calling, and Faith Women Fellowship Ministry was born.
Since then, she has poured her life into evangelism and discipleship, establishing the Fellowship across Benue and Kogi States, mentoring women, and authoring several inspirational books, including Journey of Faith, God Makes the Just Laugh, and Prejudice is But a Witchcraft, among others.
Widowed following the death of her husband, she has walked through personal loss with unshaken faith, remaining an example of resilience and devotion to the Ministry she leads. Those who know her describe her as a true role model and counselor, a woman whose steady faith has become a source of wisdom to everyone she meets.
Our Commission
Home is the first and greatest institution established by God, and it is from the home that every church on earth emanates. We are commissioned to:

Preach and teach the undiluted Word of God to families, applying sound biblical doctrine and principles. Through our Wisdom Impartation and Destiny Encounter sessions.

Teach everyone to genuinely fear, love, and serve God devotedly. This conviction has anchored our corporate worship and Conqueror’s Praise Nights since our founding in 1986.

Promote sincere love, peace, and unity in the home and in Christendom. For four decades, we have walked with families to mend broken relationships and restore peace within the household.

Equip and encourage believers to overcome the manipulation of the devil. Like Israel’s battles in the wilderness, we have faced opposition on every side, and God has consistently given us victory.

Restore God’s power, authority, and dominion in lives, homes, churches, and the nation. Forty years of healing, deliverance, and visible testimonies stand as proof that His dominion is still at work through this Ministry.
